Port St. Lucie Hospital has programs that address a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Crisis care services are also available for patients in acute crisis who require immediate assistance in a safe, secure and structured environment.

Adult Psychiatric Program
Provides intensive treatment for individuals dealing with medical, emotional, and psychiatric issues in a safe and secure setting.

For patients in acute crisis who require immediate assistance in a secure, safe, and structured environment.

Dual Diagnosis Program
Our dual diagnosis program uses a multi-disciplinary approach to treat a mental health diagnosis while addressing substance abuse issues.

Partial Hospitalization Program
Port St. Lucie Hospital offers an intensive Partial Hospitalization program in an outpatient setting for patients with or without a co-occurring substance abuse issues. The program can be used as a “step down” from an inpatient program or as a less restrictive option in lieu of an inpatient program.
Who can make a referral?
Family members, physicians, clinicians, community agencies, ministers, and the judicial system can make referrals. Self-referrals are always welcome. Programs are designed for individuals who are exhibiting one or more of the following symptoms:
- Inability to concentrate
- Wandering or confusion about surroundings
- Loss of appetite
- Increased anxiety
- Relationship crisis
