broad spectrum of mental health issues
Who can make a referral?
Family members,
physicians, clinicians, community agencies, ministers, and the judicial
system can make referrals. Self-referrals are always welcome. Programs
are designed for individuals who are exhibiting one or more of the
following symptoms:

Inability to concentrate
v Wandering or confusion
about surroundings
v Loss of appetite
v Increased anxiety
v
Relationship crisis
v
Agitation

v Weight loss
v Depression, hopelessness, or isolation
v Use of medication or alcohol leading to dependence
v Restlessness, disorientation, hyperactivity
Crisis Care Services
For patients in acute crisis who require immediate
assistance in a secure, safe, and structured environment.
Dual Diagnosis
In patient 21-28 day program that uses a multi-disciplinary
approach to treat a mental health diagnosis while addressing substance abuse
issues.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Port St. Lucie Hospital offers an intensive Partial
Hospitalization program in an outpatient setting for patients with or without a
co-occurring substance abuse issues. The program can be used as a “step down”
from an inpatient program or as a less restrictive option in lieu of an
inpatient program.
