The Dual Diagnosis Program at Port St.
Lucie Hospital provides treatment for co-occurring
chemical dependency and mental health issues in an
inpatient setting.
Psychiatrists lead the treatment team to
assure quality patient care.
The Treatment Team Consists of:
Our patients meet with members of their
treatment team at least three times weekly to ensure the
best possible treatment for the individual’s own
specific needs.
The treatment team works with each
individual to develop an individualized treatment plan.
The treatment plan is reviewed and revised by the
treatment team and the patient at least once per week.
The attending psychiatrist closely
supervises medication management.
The program provides mental health and
addiction education classes to meet each patient’s
specific needs and group therapies on a daily basis.
Individual and family therapies are highly encouraged
and are provided by our therapists.
